Koren, Scully honored for their service

Steven Koren of Koren Development Corp. Inc. and Mary Ann Scully, president and chief executive officer of Howard Bank, have been recognized by the Home Builders Association of Maryland for their outstanding contributions in 2006.

Koren and Scully were co-chairs of the renovation and expansion campaign for the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, leading a team of local business, religious and civic leaders in raising funds. The two were honored for helping provide shelter for the county's homeless.
